Music beautifully enhances the encounter with God during Mass, supports the prayer of the assembly, and helps us draw more deeply into the celebration of the Eucharist. Christ the King offers many opportunities for parishioners of all ages to share their musical gifts.

Cantors help lead the singing of the assembly at weekend Masses, Holy Days, and other special liturgies.

Liturgical Choir helps lead the music at 10:00a Sunday Mass and at major parish celebrations throughout the year. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00p.

Choristers give students in Grades 3–8 the opportunity to grow in faith, musicianship, leadership, and service. Choristers sing regularly at School Masses and participate in selected weekend and special liturgies.

Resurrection Choir provides music for Funeral Masses and offers a beautiful ministry of prayer and support to grieving families.

Handbell Choir adds another dimension to our parish music through the unique sound of handbells at selected Masses and celebrations.

Instrumentalists enrich our worship throughout the year. Brass, strings, woodwinds, percussion, and other instruments are incorporated into weekend Masses and special celebrations.

Whether you are an experienced musician or simply love to sing, there is a place for you in the Music Ministry at Christ the King.
