Eucharistic Adoration

Tuesdays 8:45AM – 7:00PM

(Rosary 6:30PM & Benediction 6:50PM)

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”

Psalm 95:6

Eucharistic Adoration is a way to spend time with our blessed Lord Jesus.

In this prayer form, we focus intently upon hearing God’s Word while praying before His Eucharistic Presence. In the Eucharist visibly displayed in the monstrance atop the altar, Christ Jesus is really, truly and substantially present – Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

Deuteronomy 6:5

The remarkable French priest and pastor St. John Vianney (+1859) was intrigued by the commitment of a parishioner who would come regularly to spend time with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration available at his parish in the village of Ars. One day, he finally asked the adoring parishioner, “What do you do in adoration?” The parishioner simply replied, “I look at Christ and He looks at me.”
