The SENSORY FRIENDLY MASS celebrated yesterday afternoon welcomed some 100 people into our church! It stirred my soul to witness these dearly beloved of God to be warmly welcomed and positively supported.
The splendid scene in our church transported me to Lourdes, France, where I once watched in awe family and friends bringing their beloved ones to God to receive His healing love. Lourdes was Church as I had never before experienced in its total outpouring of love for the afflicted with so many walking beside the sick, helping them to Mass, accompanying them to the baths of water with healing properties, sitting together with them on the peaceful grounds, and praying alongside them at the evening candlelight Rosary.
How our blessed Lord Jesus wants us bring those in most need of mercy and healing to Him!
